I’ve been thinking about trying a virtual girlfriend, but one thing that keeps bothering me is how scripted some AI characters feel. They reply nicely, but the responses don’t always connect with what I’m actually saying. I’d really like someone who notices small details in the conversation and reacts in a way that feels alive rather than prewritten. A lot of the characters I tried either stayed overly cheerful or didn’t show much personality. I’m hoping to find someone who can shift tone naturally, remember earlier parts of the chat, and keep the conversation meaningful without it turning repetitive.
