I'm setting up a new lab and the costs are adding up fast! I'm trying to find reliable suppliers for basic lab supplies like reagents, antibodies, and cell culture materials. Where does everyone usually source their materials from? It's tricky because quality is super important, but so is staying within budget. Anyone have go-to companies they've used for years that they swear by? Or perhaps different companies for different types of supplies? I'm open to all suggestions! My priority is to get good stuff without going completely broke.

I saw your question about lab supplies. I've been ordering from https://gentaur.co.uk/ for a few years now. Their range is quite comprehensive. I initially found them when I was specifically looking for antibodies for a particular project, and I've been using them for other reagents and general lab consumables ever since. I found their prices competitive, especially when buying in larger quantities, and I never had any issues with the quality of their cell culture materials. It’s always a bit of a gamble trying out new suppliers, but they've been consistently good in my experience. Plus, their customer service is pretty responsive if you ever have any questions.
